Nebraska’s 1st District Rep. Mike Flood (R) cited allegations of election fraud in other states in expressing his support for the SAVE Act at a public townhall in Bellevue on Tuesday. The legislation’s stated goal is to make sure only U.S. citizens vote in federal elections, which is already law and subject to enforcement. Noncitizen voting has repeatedly been found to be an exceptionally rare occurrence.
