Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy made a bizarre comment while campaigning for Sen. Pete Ricketts, telling the crowd, “I love Nebraska better than sex,” before joking that he probably should not have said it. Kennedy was speaking at Ricketts’ annual Nebraska Steak Fry in Cass County, where he stumped for the Republican incumbent ahead of his November race against independent candidate Dan Osborn.
