Congressional candidate Denise Powell dismantles opponent’s argument for the Iran war

Democratic congressional candidate Denise Powell pushed back against Republican opponent Brinker Harding after he defended the war in Iran as necessary during a KETV debate. Harding argued that military action was needed to address the threat posed by Iran, but Powell challenged that justification and questioned the human and financial costs of the conflict. She argued that the US should prioritize diplomacy over a war that has already cost American lives and billions of taxpayer dollars. Powell and Harding are running for Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District seat in November.
