Nebraska organizer says voters are fed up with rising costs under Trump

A Nebraska organizer working with Democratic congressional candidate Denise Powell says the message he keeps hearing from voters is simple: everyday life still costs too much. He pointed to groceries, gas, rent and child care, arguing that the Trump administration has failed to deliver on its promise to bring prices down and blaming policies including tariffs for adding to families’ financial pressure. Powell is the Democratic nominee for Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District, where affordability and tariffs have become major campaign issues.
