We’ve all got that restaurant in town that we’ve heard good things about or have been meaning to try for some other reason. Now may be the time to make a move.
Omaha Restaurant Week kicks off on Sept. 11, with more than 50 Omaha restaurants offering deals for three-course dinners priced between $20 and $50 over 10 days ending on Sept. 20.
Participating restaurants will offer three-course meals in $10 increments. You can check the website here to explore which ones will be offering deals for $20, $30, $40, or $50. Megan Feeney with Visit Omaha put together this helpful post with options for any number of eager eaters, from the Frugal Foodies to the Trendsetters looking for Omaha’s newest and buzzworthy restaurants.
And if the great deals weren’t reason enough to take part, 5% of all proceeds from Omaha Restaurant Week will support Food Bank for the Heartland, a food bank serving folks in 93 counties across Nebraska and western Iowa through a network of more than 500 community partners.
“The need is the highest we’ve seen in our history,” said acting food bank president and CEO Tresha Rodgers, according to Nebraska Public Media’s The Reader. “We are grateful for the support from our local culinary community during Omaha Restaurant Week so we can continue to support the one in seven individuals and the one in five children facing hunger across the Heartland.”
If you really want to dive in to dine in at as many spots as you can, we suggest grabbing an Omaha Restaurant Week Pass, which offers more exclusive dining offers at participating stops. The pass allows you to collect points at each establishment you patronize, which can then be redeemed for rewards and prizes like restaurant gift cards and an exclusive Omaha Restaurant Week T-shirt.
