Gov. Jim Pillen has named the members of Nebraska’s new Data Center Task Force. The group is supposed to study how data centers affect natural resources, power grids and local infrastructure. But several appointees have sparked skepticism over ties to industries that could benefit from data center development. Cass County Data Center Watch organizer Jayden Speed tells Courier Nebraska the task force looks like “a who’s who of those that stand to benefit” from the projects.
