The Omaha City Council will soon consider a local ordinance that would restore language from Nebraska’s 2022 minimum wage ballot measure, including annual cost-of-living increases and the elimination of a youth subminimum wage created by lawmakers. Gab Rima, co-founder of Strongly Worded Letters Omaha, testified in support of the ordinance before the council in June.
