Republican criticism of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is becoming increasingly public. Nebraska Rep. Don Bacon took to CNN to question whether Hegseth is the right person to lead the Pentagon soon after Republican Sen. Thom Tillis of North Carolina called on President Donald Trump to replace him. Tillis’ criticism also followed Army Secretary Dan Driscoll’s resignation amid reported tensions with Hegseth.
